Overview
Zylo is looking for an exceptional, revenue-driven Event Marketing Lead to develop and execute our overall event marketing strategies, including our industry-leading conference, SaaSMe. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Digital and Demand, the EventsMarketing Lead, is detail-oriented and is an expert in creating exceptional online and in-person events that drive pipeline and directly impact business goals.
What you will do
- Work with the Sr. Director of Digital and Demand to develop, coordinate and carry out conference and event (in person and virtual) strategies based on objectives like pipeline, brand awareness, customer engagement, and thought leadership.
- Work with Marketing, BDR, Customer Success, and Sales teams to develop multi-channel marketing campaigns to support pre- and post-event promotion and engagement for prospect and customer events.
- Lead the planning and execution of SaaSMe, Zylo’s premier annual event and the industry’s only SaaS Management conference.
- Own third-party event strategy and execution, including but not limited to identifying top-performing industry events, coordination of onsite needs and staffing, overseeing sponsorship fulfillment programs to ensure that all sponsorship benefits are maximized, budget management, securing additional venue spaces, creating, gathering, and shipping support materials and collateral, pre-and post-show communications with the internal team, attendees, prospects, customers, and partners
- Support demand generation and pipeline efforts for online and offline event-based marketing programs that complement our revenue strategy for prospects and customers.
- Own the event session agenda across our digital and in-person events, including creating the complete session schedule, handling speaker selection and gender diversity ratios, producing a run-of-show, coordinating speaker logistics, spearheading tech rehearsals, and working with our internal team members and external partners to ensure a successful event.
- Create and maintain an annual digital event marketing strategy and calendar with detailed proposals for events, including timelines, content, audience focus, and budgets.
- Collect input and feedback from sales and other internal stakeholders to identify new opportunities and help achieve sales and marketing revenue goals
- Own metrics and reporting for all event efforts, including lead generation, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, revenue, and awareness metrics.
- Track and optimize the event funnel, striving to improve conversions at every point: promotion, registration, and follow-up
- Track event performance, including pipeline generation and return on investment, and deliver post-event reports.
What you need
- Minimum 5+ of experience working in event and field marketing in the B2B technology space with a revenue focus
- Confidence in using platforms such as Salesforce and Zuddl to extract and generate reports for all event efforts
- Consistent record of building successful partnerships with sales and customer success teams to craft programs that are results-driven in their approach
- Experience creating and delivering exceptional revenue driving virtual and in-person events
- Experience owning and managing on target event budgets
- Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time and be able to attend the majority of customer, prospect, and company events in person that we are engaged with.
- Experience building an events marketing strategy for a B2B technology company with a mix of virtual and in-person events.
- Experience marketing to enterprise companies and C-level executives
- Self-starter with experience working remotely or in a hybrid environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Writing assignments will be used to assess writing skills and style
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM systems (preferably Pardot & Salesforce) a big plus!
