About the Role:
As a Brand Monitoring Intern, you’ll track social media and web platforms to spot fake profiles, phishing threats, and brand misuse. You’ll support research, organize findings, and help protect brand reputation in the digital space.
What You Require: (SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE (Preferred):)
- Social Media Awareness: Interest in exploring platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc., and understanding how violations and abuse are reported.
- Enforcement Process: Awareness or curiosity about how content enforcement works on social media platforms.
- Analytical Thinking: A keen eye for detail with an interest in identifying suspicious content or potential brand misuse.
- Adaptability: Comfortable with learning new tools, trends, and digital platforms related to cybersecurity and brand monitoring.
- Awareness of Brand Protection: Familiarity or eagerness to understand intellectual property rights and online abuse reporting.
- Time Management: Ability to stay organised, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Clear and concise written communication; able to express observations and draft structured content.
- Web Research: Comfortable using search engines and online tools to gather and verify information.
- Basic Tech Proficiency: Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
What You’ ll DO:
- Monitor public sources, social media platforms, and websites to identify potential brand misuse or phishing content.
- Support in researching infringing websites, fake domains, and impersonation accounts.
- Assist in identifying and documenting violations across digital platforms.
- Conduct secondary research on various topics related to brand monitoring.
- Prepare and maintain data sheets and reports using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate project deliverables.
- Understand basic concepts of IP rights and brand protection practices.
- Respond to client or team queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Open to working in rotational shifts.
