Job Description
We’re looking for a scrappy and entrepreneurial Events & Community Lead to join us at Glimpse. One of Glimpse’s biggest growth channels is events—tradeshows, dinners, sponsorships, and more. We believe building community is one of the most powerful (and fun!) ways to grow a company, and we get to work with some of the most exciting consumer brands out there.
As our first hire focused on events and community, you’ll own how we show up IRL. From coordinating major industry trade shows to hosting intimate customer dinners, you’ll help build Glimpse’s presence and make our customers feel like the heroes of the story. You’ll also have the creative freedom to bring new ideas to life and scale out our community playbook in 2025 and beyond.
This is an exciting role for someone who loves people, knows how to get things done, and wants to have high ownership early in their career.
Ideal Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in a sales, marketing, partnerships, or event coordination role
- Excited about the CPG industry and passionate about community-building
- Has helped organize trade show booths, brand activations, or event partnerships (preferred)
- A strong communicator who thrives on execution and making things happen
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Based in or willing to relocate to NYC (5 days/week in office)
- Willing to travel (~20%) for conferences and events
Job Responsibilities
- Own Glimpse’s event strategy—from high-profile industry trade shows to smaller, curated customer gatherings
- Manage all event logistics: planning, budgeting, coordination, and post-event follow-ups
- Develop creative ideas to highlight our customers and build brand love (think: dinners, activations, panels, etc.)
- Partner with marketing and sales to drive pipeline and awareness through events
- Help us build and scale an IRL playbook that can be repeated and expanded
- Become a champion of the Glimpse brand in the CPG world
