Data-driven growth is the backbone of our marketing mission.

An impressive mission requires an equally impressive, analytical mind. VIA is looking for a Commercial Data Operations Specialist who will own, develop, and optimize our entire inbound and outbound analytics from end to end. You will actively build and manage the infrastructure that connects our first digital touchpoint to recurring enterprise customers.

VIA is deeply committed to user privacy, having intentionally eliminated tracking cookies from our site, you will be the mastermind navigating our multi-touch attribution in a cookie-less, hyper-secure B2B and B2G ecosystem. You will track the full lifecycle of how users learn about us (from YouTube and the VIA Knowledge Hub podcasts) to how they engage on our website, and ultimately how they sync into a CRM solution as qualified opportunities. Your insights will directly shape our marketing strategy and critical decisions.

In this role, you will:

  • Architect and maintain the funnel infrastructure: Fully evaluate and optimize our CRM (e.g. HubSpot) and other marketing automation tools alongside privacy-first analytics tools (e.g. Plausible for website analytics) to paint a clear, un-siloed picture of our marketing attribution
  • Map the full customer acquisition lifecycle: Trace the complete journey of prospective clients from discovery to recurring customers. You’ll figure out exactly what happens when an enterprise lead moves from a YouTube video or podcast episode to our website, into a system and ultimately with the sales team and tracking their metrics
  • Inform strategy and decisions: Turn raw behavioral and inbound data into actionable marketing intelligence. You’ll guide decisions on outbound email cadence, target audiences, and high-ROI ad placements
  • Own the full analytics and reporting lifecycle: Manage end-to-end performance tracking across all channels including social (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Youtube), content (Substack), website, and events. Translate these metrics into actionable reports you present to the team alongside strategic recommendations for stakeholders to optimize marketing and sales performance
  • Preserve data integrity: Ensure our data is handled in an encrypted, secure manner that mirrors VIA’s enterprise-grade standards, respecting our zero-cookie architecture while maintaining pristine lead-source tracking

Requirements

What you will bring to this role:

  • The tools of the trade: 3+ years of experience in Commercial Operations, Growth Marketing, or Data Analytics, with advanced, hands-on mastery of the minutiae within CRM platforms like HubSpot (e.g. workflows, attribution mapping, and CRM architecture)
  • Privacy-first expertise: Strong familiarity with cookie-less, privacy-preserving web analytics platforms like Plausible. You know how to build attribution structures without relying on invasive tracking scripts
  • Multi-touch mentality: A proven track record of tracking complex, multi-channel B2B user journeys across disparate media types (video, audio, text, web, email)
  • An architectural mindset: Experience setting up clean, automated data pipelines that eliminate manual lead-tracking bottlenecks
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Meet with sales and commercial teams to identify pain points with their sales tracking and fully get them on board with marketing analytics processes
