Requirements
Testsigma is looking for an experienced Director of Sales to run the Sales team. This person will be responsible for helping to develop and execute both inbound and outbound new business opportunities through Sales Development, Account Executives, and Pre-Sales.
The primary objectives of the Director of Sales is to achieve revenue targets, develop pipeline, grow market share within the segment, and attain net new customers. Ultimately building and increasing the outbound sales function will be a key strategic area. The Director of Sales should be focused on account ACV, deal volume and velocity, lead qualification, pipeline generation and pre-sales. Focused on expanding and growing adoption of Testsigma, they must build and lead a high performing sales team to help customers understand and realise the full potential of the platform.
Responsibilities Include
Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining a focus on the company’s strategic goals
Manage a team including managers and individual contributors efficiently to drive the best possible strategy and processes and productivity
Through training and setting up clear processes and guidelines ensuring that the right solutions are pitched to all clients at the right time through proposals and presentations
Mentor and develop skill sets and strategic thinking of sales teams
Play an intricate role in the development of sales products based on long-term customer needs
Provide input on marketing, including demand gen, sales enablement, and customer-facing content strategies as well as managing Presales, and maintaining strong relationships with Customer Success, Partnership and other teams across the business.
Act as an expert voice within the organization for sales
The team size is currently 15 including the managers who report into you
Right now 90% is inbound and 10% outbound in terms of the sales team breakdown but the plan is to grow the outbound function and the team.
Desired Skills:
Total 10+ years of sales experience, 6+ years SaaS sales experience.
3-4 years in a sales management position within these businesses.
Your experience should be outbound new business focused with deals sizes in the $15k-$100k range.
Ideally you will have experience in the QA or Engineering Tech space.
We are looking for people who have been a part of fast growing startups from $10m-$50m+ in revenue.
Experience hiring, training and managing first line managers and individual contributors.
Ability to analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
Proven track record of successful sales exceeding goals and quotas.
Proven track record of building sales team strategy and managing budgets.
Ability to access high-level decision makers.
Experience with satellite offices and remote management is ideal as well as international businesses.
You will be based in the Bangalore office.
