Procurement Contracts Coordinator
Position Overview
The Procurement Contracts Coordinator is a full-time position that reports to the Manager of Procurement Contracts within the Procurement Department. This role is integral to supporting SailPoint’s procurement activities, including managing the contract lifecycle, conducting minor reviews, and addressing audit requirements.
Scope of Responsibilities:
The Procurement Contracts Coordinator will:
Support the procurement business in all contract-related activities as directed by the Manager of Procurement Contracts.
Proficiently write, evaluate, and execute contracts across various transaction types.
Maintain correspondence and documentation for contracts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders while handling contract needs and challenges.
Ensure process improvements and business goals are met through outstanding contract management.

Typical Activities
Field and manage incoming contract requests, guiding lifecycle support.
Analyze contractual needs and communicate the business purpose to legal teams.
Assist in contract negotiation by providing troubleshooting support to the Procurement team.
Oversee execution of new contracts and ensure metadata accuracy in the contract system.
Validate historical contract data and monitor contract performance.
Manage terminations, renewals, and adjustments to existing contracts.
Provide ad hoc reporting to the Director of Procurement.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a legal-related field or equivalent.
Experience with contract preparation and management.
Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Timeline and tasks are subject to change by direction of manager. Within the first 30 days you will:
Complete all required company and department onboarding processes and training;
Understand SailPoint’s procurement processes, policies, and contract lifecycle;
Learn the relevant tools utilized in SailPoint’s procurement contracts process (i.e., Coupa, SharePoint, OneTrust);
Begin accurately entering contracts metadata into the CLM tool;
Familiarize yourself with the Procurement Contracts Legal Playbook and the relevant contract templates the team utilizes including the NDA, PSA, SOW, DPA, etc.; and
Begin sending contracts for signatures under SailPoint’s Delegation of Authority Policy through DocuSign in a timely manner.
First 60 Days
Begin to manage the non-PO contract review intake form, contracts que, and other data entry tasks;
Respond to department and internal stakeholder inquires on routine contract matters;
Begin to independently review and negotiate low-complexity contract requests; and
Proactively identify and suggest improvements to the existing procurement contracts process and collaborate with leadership on implementation.
First 90 Days
Independently manage standard procurement contracts from intake to execution including but not limited to NDAs, OFs, SOWs, Termination Notices, etc.
Complete quarterly review of contract metadata within Coupa to identify gaps, risks, and needed corrections; and
Establish working relationships with key stakeholders such as in Legal, Marketing, Accounting, Professional Services, and IT.
First 6 Months
Take ownership of event related marketing contracts (i.e., event sponsorship agreements, event management SOWs, etc.), SOWs for SailPoint’s contractor program, and SailPoint’s global lease renewals;
Assist with internal training or documentation on contract processes and policies; and
Partner with leadership to develop new templates and/or improvements to existing contract templates to streamline work efficiencies while mitigating risks.
First 12 Months
Drive cross-departmental initiatives to align procurement contracts with evolving business goals (i.e., data privacy, AI tools, ESG, etc.);
Partner with stakeholders to understand more complex risks and draft contract language to mitigate those concerns; and
Independently review, redline, and negotiate more complex contracts including but not limited to Master Subscription Agreements and Data Processing Addendums, on vendor paper.
