This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the future of construction technology in the heavy equipment and machinery industry.
As a product manager at RapidWorks, you will have a key role in the development of the company and its products. You will lead the next wave of growth in the definition and launch of our construction equipment resource management products. You’ll research requirements with our customers and prospects, define the product roadmap and work with our global development team to ship new capabilities that delight our users. This is a hands-on role, so you’ll need to be prepared to roll up your sleeves and dive into customer usage data, build mockups, and manage product backlog items and development sprints.
Responsibilities
● Serve as product owner on the scrum team to organize and prioritize the product backlog, including requirement grooming, describing the business value and representing the voice of the customer.
● Communicate development status and progress toward milestones and releases.
● Work collaboratively with designers, engineers, consultants, and partners to deliver software solutions to our customers’ business needs.
● Research product and market needs directly with customers and prospects to understand the root causes behind questions and pain points, gathering business requirements to establish the product roadmap.
● Translate product roadmap into detailed functional requirements, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and work with designers to create awesome user experiences.
● Conduct user experience testing, manage the product release process
● Demonstrate product capabilities and solutions to customers and partners to assist in the sales process.
● Work with the customer success and implementation team to help our customers configure and deploy our connectors to accounting systems or other platforms.
● Be flexible and willing to work with remote development teams based in EU time zones.
Qualifications
● 1-3+ years of product management experience in a B2B software company.
● Must have experience working as a product owner in an Agile development process.
● Understanding of SaaS product management process with hands-on experience of creating and managing a product backlog, working with technical teams to prioritize and deliver features.
● Ability to take customer needs and translate them to solution requirements that can be used by product teams for development is required.
● Worked with development teams on User Interface (UI) design/validation, sprint reviews, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
● Experience building or supporting integrations to accounting or ERP systems in a B2B software or consulting company.
● Passionate about creating value for customers and users with innovative solutions to business problems.
● Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to build strong cross-functional relationships, internally and externally.
● Technical background with ability to work well with partners, consultants, and engineers.
● Analytic and metrics-driven work style.
