Roles and Responsibilities
- Drafting, negotiating, preparing, vetting, and reviewing terms of various complex business, non-commercial and commercial contracts, including but not limited to software licenses agreements, NDAs, distributor agreements, research collaboration agreements, specific study agreements, service agreements, letters of intent, vendor agreements, employment agreements etc., across multiple jurisdictions.
- Providing legal advice and support to the company on general corporate law issues, advising company management on day-to-day affairs, policy matters, and managing legal issues arising in different areas of the company, including but not limited to corporate matters, international commercial law, disputes, data privacy, IP laws, etc.
- Ensure ESG compliance and assist the ESG manager in setting up and implementing the ESG framework including laying down the ESG road map and implementation of the same
- Liaising and coordinating with external counsel and authorities, in relation to legal and compliance matters of Company and communicating the opinions and advice received from external counsel and authorities to internal stakeholders.
- Managing the Intellectual Property portfolio of the organisation.
- Managing privacy law related matters across multiple jurisdictions and ensuring compliances of the organisations’
- processes, policies and programs with laws such as GDPR, CCPA, DPDPA, HIPAA etc and other industry best practices
- Assisting the Data Protection Officer with various data protection related matters, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and responding to queries received from internal and external
- stakeholders.
- Being familiar with applicable laws and regulations related to IP, open-source, data privacy and data security etc.
- Advising Company’s HR on employment matters, review and revise Company policies and processes to support the
- Company's operation and growth, ensuring that the Company fulfils its legal and statutory and requirements.
- Research and drafting for legal and other matters, creating workflows, playbooks and trackers to improve team processes.
- Managing overall legal, secretarial compliance of the organisation and its subsidiaries.
- Assisting with such other tasks including administrative tasks, conducting extensive legal research, and presenting
- summaries and legal implications with the view of resolving legal issues in an effective manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in law from a reputed law school.
- Work experience of 5-7 years (preferably in legal department of a company or a leading law-firm).
- Candidates with AIBE cleared will be preferred.
- Candidates with LLM in corporate and financial laws or technology laws will be preferred.

- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Team player with ability to effortlessly manage a team and effortlessly coordinate across other teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
- Good exposure to general corporate law as well as a strong familiarity with commercial and business contracts.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
