Overview:
As a Senior Software Implementation Consultant at One Inc, you’ll play a key role in onboarding new clients and expanding capabilities for existing ones on our One Inc platform. You’ll work closely with a Project Manager or in some cases solo to deliver high-quality, on-time implementations while acting as a trusted advisor to our customers. You will specialize in the One Inc 835 offering – utilizing your experience with medical billing to map inbound files/data to One Inc’s system.
What You’ll Do
You’ll configure platform features with a focus on our 835 offering, guide clients through API integrations, and document functional requirements, use cases, and process flows. You’ll collaborate across teams—including development, QA, product, and support—to ensure scalable, flexible solutions. You’ll also lead discovery sessions, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of our implementation processes.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Implementation Consultant with deep experience in digital payments and EDI workflows—particularly 835 remittance mapping—to lead client implementations and drive technical excellence across our SaaS platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and enjoys solving complex integration challenges in healthcare, insurance, or fintech domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert with 835 field mappings.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of our digital payments platform, with a focus on 835 EDI mapping and reconciliation workflows.
- Serve as a technical advisor to enterprise clients, translating API contracts into actionable integration strategies and guiding them through implementation.
- Facilitate requirements gathering through executive-level stakeholder interviews, both in-person and via web conferencing, and synthesize findings into actionable specifications.
- Act as a subject matter expert across internal and external teams, providing strategic input on product capabilities, integration approaches, and client-specific needs.
- Evaluate and reconcile complex information from multiple sources, abstracting technical details into business-relevant insights and identifying true client needs beyond surface-level requests.
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives with minimal oversight, balancing strategic priorities and tactical execution.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, QA, and product teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Lead solution validation efforts, including high-level testing and stakeholder walkthroughs, to confirm alignment with requirements and expectations.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
Required Skills:
- Healthcare technology, insurance (workers comp/property and casualty), and/or EDI and Payment Integration platform experience is desired

- The ability to identify and map the solution to meet our customers’ business requirements

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience is required
- 5+ years of consulting or insurance carrier experience in a SAAS environment is required
- Experience gathering, creating and managing requirements is required
- Experience building UI mockups & wire framing mockups is required
- Experience working on third party integrations, REST APIs
- Insurance industry experience is highly desired, ideally with payments experience
- Agile methodology experience is preferred
- Experience working with complex projects with multiple tasks and subtasks
