Job Title: Sales Data Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sales Data Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving data-informed decisions across our sales organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, advanced Excel skills, and hands-on experience with Salesforce. Experience in the payments, insurance, or SaaS industry is highly desirable.
Candidate will work closely with Sales, Relationship Management, Finance and Business Intelligence teams to uncover insights, optimize performance, and support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sales and relationship management performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Excel and Salesforce to support sales leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and track progress against goals.
- Provide actionable insights to improve pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and territory planning.
- Monitor and report on lead conversion rates, win/loss ratios, and sales cycle metrics.
- Assist in quota setting, territory alignment, and incentive modeling using historical performance data.
- Support ad-hoc analysis requests and deliver clear, concise findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across CRM and reporting platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- 5–6 years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably within a sales or revenue operations environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, data visualization).
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce (reporting, dashboards, data extraction).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL, R, or Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with PowerBI for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with other CRM platforms or tools (e.g., HubSpot, Clari).
