Vice President, Strategic Alliances
Reports to the SVP, Business Development
One Inc is looking for a Vice President, Strategic Alliances with strong deal, strategy and relationship management experience to accelerate our partner ecosystem. The objective is to work with selected Insurance Industry technology, fintech, and go to market bank partners to extend our reach, revenue and digital payments platform delivery within the Insurance industry.
The candidate will have significant experience and passion in incubating, launching and scaling top-tier technology, fintech and banking partnerships. The successful candidate will work with the partner’s alliances, technical, marketing & field sales individuals and ensure alignment with their counterparts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong partner sales and marketing background, bring experience working with large banks and strong leadership skills which enables them to engage with partner sales teams to drive strong field level engagement between the partner and One Inc.
This is a critical role within the One Inc team and will require cross-functional leadership skills to work with One Inc Sales, Support, Services, Product and Operations. This role will be a major change agent, having impact and influence with a high degree of energy, flexibility and drive to create real and measurable business results.
Candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. We are looking for candidates that are creative, aggressive and looking to expand and advance their responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Drive partnerships with highest profile partners within One Inc’s ecosystem. This includes handling day to day account management activities yet also has responsibility for setting the strategy and enacting the strategy with these key partners with the primary purpose of growing the combined relationship.
- Coordinate the development of internal and external-facing marketing and sales initiatives with partners supporting GTM efforts.
- Work closely with the One Inc Sales organization to broker account mapping and field-level relationships with technology, fintech and bank partner teams.
- Represent both the voice of the partner to One Inc and the voice of One Inc to the partner as required to resolve issues and attain success with the customer.
- Provide thought leadership in relation to all aspects of our go to market business including marketing, sales campaigns, partner strategy and prioritization, partner contracts, incentive management, and product roadmap. Successful candidate will be a well-rounded, proven business leader capable of wearing many hats.
- Expertise in aligning value propositions with partners' needs and expectations and ability to define and articulate One Inc’s value propositions to various partner teams, including alliances, marketing, sales, product, and delivery.
- Proven sales and partnership experience with SaaS technology, fintech and banking products and services, particularly those relevant to the insurance industry.
- Strong relationship management / partner development skills and great at navigating organizations to build relationships and partnerships with c-level and other senior leadership across an organization.
- Passionate Partners & Alliances champion who can provide world-class program management and thought leadership to increase revenue and drive incremental business opportunities.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships while delivering results in a highly complex, matrixed organizations.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation and managing partnership agreements.
- Expertise in developing and coordinating marketing and sales initiatives, both internal and external.
- Ability to analyze data related to partnership performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with an ability to speak effectively to business development leaders, executives, product managers, engineers, legal, and security professionals
- Must be able to prioritize and multi-task with special attention to detail and follow-up.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Experienced Salesforce User.
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in Sales / Business Development /Partners & Alliances
- BA/BS degree, MBA or master’s degree a plus.

- Relevant domain expertise in P&C & Life Insurance segments desired.
- Relevant domain expertise in payments industry, specifically within the ISV and banking sectors.
