Mission:
As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support to the Product Management team in the development and optimization of hydrogen supply systems by conducting market analysis, product evaluations, and technical assessments. Ensure effective execution of tasks across the department to contribute to the company's growth and leadership in hydrogen technologies.
Functions:
Direct tasks
- Conduct market analysis and research to identify trends and opportunities in the hydrogen supply market.
- Perform technical assessments and basic chemical evaluations related to hydrogen supply systems.
- Modelling different chemical plant configurations to achieve local and global maximum in terms of efficiency, operational costs, or investment.
- Creation of technical documentation for engineering products that valorized knowledge and helps customer understanding of technology.
Assisting tasks
- Support the development of business models for hydrogen supply systems, focusing on cost structures and profitability.
- Assist product managers in project execution and development tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and sales, to ensure alignment on product strategies.
- Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in site visits and field activities for product testing and validation.
- Contribute to documentation and preparation of technical reports and presentations.
- Stay updated on industry developments and standards for hydrogen technologies.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Energy Systems, or a related technical field (MSc recommended).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the energy sector, ideally in hydrogen supply
- systems or related technologies.
- English proficiency.
- Basic knowledge of chemistry and energy systems.
Desirable:
- Courses or certifications in market analysis, business modeling, or
- renewable energy.
- Specialized training in hydrogen technologies.
- Excel models development and other programming capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
