Job Description

We’re seeking a Senior Product Designer who is excited about working in a fast-paced startup environment. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative and user-centered designs for our suite of web and mobile products to deliver a top-tier experience for our advisors and clients. You will go beyond UX/UI; you will play a leading role in shaping our products, which means you will deeply understand Farther’s strategy and business needs.

You’ll have an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and be a part of a dynamic and innovative team making a significant impact in the financial services sector.

Initial responsibilities include:

  • Create functional user experiences with beautiful scalable design for clients and advisors
  • Iterate rapidly while balancing client and advisor needs with business impact
  • Develop user flows, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and design documentation
  • Seek out and incorporate feedback from others, including Product, Design, and Engineering
  • Evolve our design system (which began with branding designs from Red Antler)

Qualifications:

Required

  • Skilled with UX/interaction design and UI/visual design
  • Experience using Figma to collaborate with Product and Engineering teammates
  • Comfortable with new challenges and a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality work
  • Strong communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Financial industry experience
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment
