Biofourmis is looking for an experienced individual to lead a virtual clinical practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to demonstrate expertise and passion in building a high-quality team-oriented and patient-centered practice. In this role, you will partner with cross-disciplinary teams on the launch and scale of a transitions of care clinical program. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to innovate with a shown ability to execute, work closely with cross-functional teams, engage in open discussion, and is not afraid of a challenge.
Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Medical Director of Biofourmis Care is a physician leader responsible for Biofourmis’ transitions of care programs. We are looking to hire a physician who is forward thinking and interested in healthcare innovation. The primary function of the Medical Director is to oversee all of our transition of care programs, including hospital-at-home, timely discharge, skilled nursing facility at home, and post-acute remote patient monitoring. The Medical Director should be passionate about providing direct patient care as well as collaborating with mid-level providers to deliver virtual care. This role will oversee all aspects of clinical care provided by the Biofourmis’ team, including but not limited to clinical services provided by the MDs and APPs, quality improvement, education of providers, medical and utilization review and feedback, and support for throughput strategies.
Minimum Required Qualifications and Skills:
Base salary range for the position is $250,000-$300,000. Remote position based in California.
