About the role:
As our Channel Partnerships Manager (VC/Startup Ecosystem), you are responsible for business growth through our investor/funds and startup ecosystem, as well as our portfolio of gaming channel partners.
Working closely with Regional Lead and Global Head, Startups/VC, you will own, design, implement, and manage our channel partnership strategy covering investors and startup ecosystem partners including but not limited to Incubators, Accelerators,VCs, Funds, gaming partners and other ecosystem partners. You will be taking ownership of the new business acquisition and revenue for startups partnerships segment.
- Develop, own and execute channel partnerships for the VC/Startup ecosystem vertical in Hong Kong/China
- Identify, negotiate, onboard and maintain key channel partners to drive business growth
- Develop partner engagement best practices through events to drive start-up acquisitions
- Establish Aspire as a thought leader within start-up ecosystem in Hong Kong and China
- Measure and report the performance of partnerships, gain insights and improvise
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand user requirements and improve the partnership program
Minimum requirements:
- 5 years of experience dealing with partnerships or business development in a bank, fintech or B2B tech company.
- Experience in managing partnerships across VC/Startup ecosystems across Hong Kong and Greater China
- Strong network with the investors and founders communities across Hong Kong and China
- Proven track record of driving growth and partnerships strategies
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity
- Self-driven to deliver, with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Possesses analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
Preferred requirements:
- Experience with startups, fund management, or gaming sectors
