About the Team:
At Aspire, Finance plays a strategic role in driving our business forward. Our Finance team consists of a wide range of crucial functions across 4 verticals: (i) Traditional Finance with Accounting, Tax, Reporting, (ii) Treasury, which is a core function for a Fintech, (iii) Data including Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and Data Engineering and (iv) Strategy & Planning, which covers strategic road map, long term planning, fundraising and FP&A. Our Finance team engages in frequent strategic data analysis, research, and modeling to provide the best financial insights for critical business decisions, helping Aspire navigate the competitive landscape and capitalize on emerging opportunities. The team also plays a key part as the first user of our Aspire software, pioneer in Finance transformation, reengineering our internal process to stay agile while maintaining the internal control in a hyper fast growing environment.
About the Role
Are you ready to take your career in analytics to the next level? We are searching for an Assistant Analytics Manager (Commercial) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of data analysis, working closely with our Commercials, Sales and Marketing teams to define our go to market strategies, and provide invaluable insights and contribute to optimizing our business processes.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Performance Metrics: Create, test, and evaluate performance metrics that align with the company's strategic direction for both sales and marketing
- Own the Talk: Analyze trends by country and share outcomes with Country GMs and sales leaders to drive Revenue and Gross Margins
- Business Transformation: Own and implement new Commercial and business metric definitions which act as a foundation for building the expansion strategy
- Data Support: Respond to data requests from various teams and collaborate on building interactive dashboards that empower informed decision-making.
- Sales Enablement: Optimize processes to screen and pinpoint high potential leads for sales representatives and enable them in monitoring entire sales pipelines from lead inception to closure
- Automation: Optimize data query processes to automate reports, saving time and improving efficiency
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with different business functions to translate technical specifications into actionable insights that address business needs.
- Incentives Tracking: Assist in tracking key metrics against their targets for all the team members and the corresponding incentive figures
- BI Solutions: Design, build, and enhance Business Intelligence solutions to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Insight Mining: Extract valuable insights from data and transform them into actionable plans to drive growth and efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, statistics, economics, or similar quantitative discipline
- 4-8 years of relevant experience in business analysis, data analysis, reporting or business strategy role
- Proficiency in MySQL for data extraction and analysis is mandatory.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and Index/Match.
- Experience in leveraging third-party data from Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms such as HubSpot, and advertising platforms like Facebook Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
- Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence software, particularly Tableau, is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity of Sales cycles and Marketing methodologies is a plus
- Prior experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow and dbt is preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving, excel & data management skills including the ability to analyze and resolve complex problems using data.
- A structured, critical, and analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.
- Effective planning, organizational, and communication abilities.
- The talent to facilitate collaboration among diverse teams within the organization.
- Proven initiative in diving deep into datasets to uncover insights.
- Capability to manage multiple projects from different stakeholders simultaneously.
