About the team:

About the role:

- Monitor credit card transactions for potential fraud and anomalies.
- Analyze transaction data to identify patterns and trends.
- Provide support to customers regarding credit card payment issues, including transaction failures and disputes.
- Generate and maintain detailed reports on transaction performance, fraud incidents, customer complaints and periodical reports.
- Document all customer interactions and case resolutions in the system.
- Ensure all credit card transactions comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in identifying and mitigating risks associated with credit card payments.
- Participate in the development and implementation of improved payment processes and protocols.
- Collaborate with the technology team to enhance the payment gateway's functionality.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar role, preferably within the payments, financial services or banking industry.
- Experience with credit card payment processing/or and fraud detection is highly desirable.
- In-depth understanding of credit card processing workflows and industry standards.
- Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance requirements.
- Willing to work from office 4x a week
Preferred qualifications:
- Proficiency with payment processing systems and tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large volumes of transaction data.
- Experience with SQL or other data analysis tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail to identify discrepancies and potential fraud.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
