About the team:
At Aspire, we recognize that the foundation of our success lies in the seamless integration of cutting-edge payment solutions into our Finance Operating System. The Network/Infrastructure Partnership Team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of Aspire by establishing and nurturing strategic payment infrastructure alliances. Our team serves as the enabler, unlocking payment products, payment rails, paymodes, as well as building and expanding a robust payment network that aligns with the evolving needs of our clients and the overarching vision of the company.
About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Payment Partnership Lead to lead our network partnership efforts. You will be responsible for driving our network partnership and fostering strategic partnerships with payment and ecosystem partners. Your main focus will be to bring in and build a strong network of payment partners, including banks and non-banks, in Indonesia.
Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role working together with commercial and product teams in defining Aspire's Indonesia product roadmap based on business and customer requirements, regulatory environment, and the demands of financial network partners.
What will you be doing?
- Drive Indonesia network partnership strategy:
- Coordinate with regional and Indonesia teams and work closely with product and commercial teams on business requirements and the needs of financial network partners.
- Develop, execute, and optimize a comprehensive network partnership plan for Indonesia, in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Partnership Evaluation and Selection:
- Work cross functional with product specialists to evaluate network partners based on strategic fit, capabilities, and alignment with Aspire's values and vision.
- Lead discussions and negotiations with partners to secure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationship with network partners:
- Initiate and nurture relationships with banks and non-banks to build a robust payment network infrastructure.
- Be a point of contact connecting regional and cross-functional teams internally and externally to understand and facilitate requirements
We would love to get to know you if you have the following:
- Fluent in both Bahasa and English (business context)
- 5+ years of experience working on payment network partnerships with fintechs, financial institutions, or banking partners
- Have a strong connection and good relationship with fintechs, financial institutions, payment gateway, and banking partners in Indonesia
- Deep understanding of the Indonesia payment landscape especially payment gateway
- Proven track record of successfully closing deals and driving commercial negotiations to completion.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to identify blockers and potential tradeoffs during the negotiation process.
- A strategic thinker with a keen ability to analyze market trends and business opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with significant internal and external dependencies.
- Proven leadership skills in driving cross-functional projects to achieve successful outcomes.
