About the Role:
As our Senior Account Executive, you will drive Aspire’s growth through direct business, by building relationships with prospective clients and helping them find success through our solutions. Working closely with the SDRs and HoS, you will build and own your pipeline and close deals. You will take ownership of the new business and revenue across direct selling. You will focus on SMB with the aim of achieving quick - and consistent - results.
What you will be doing:
- Prospect New Business
- Develop relationships with decision makers and influencers to drive the full sales cycle
- Close deals with new accounts, and create value using Aspire’s product suite
- Work closely with the sales development and partnership teams to refine our go-to-market strategy
- Provide concrete, actionable feedback to help drive product strategy
- Contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales approach
We would love to get to know you if you have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 6+ years of work experience selling payments, cards and FX to SMBs, ideally with experience in fintech.
- Familiarity in e-Commerce, marketplaces, and talent platforms
- Experience with HubSpot (preferred) or other CRM systems
- Ability to build relationships with strategic clients and industry stakeholders
- A growth mindset coupled with both confidence and humility
- Familiarity with sales methodologies, e.g. SPIN, MEDDIC, Challenger
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity
- Self-driven to deliver, with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Possesses analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
