About the role:
As we enter our next phase, we are focused on building a next-generation architecture that can sustain high growth and endure for years to come. To help us on this journey, we're seeking a highly skilled DevOps Manager with diverse backgrounds who can drive and help us accelerate and enhance our technical capabilities on this journey. You will be building a leading fintech product across South-East Asia on an international & diverse team.
What will you be doing?
- Technical delivery execution of the team to drive technical excellence
- Create a DevOps roadmap and align it with a quarter roadmap with stakeholders
- Identify technical challenges worth solving, and create technical design and plan to solve
- Hands-on, doing POCs, identifying the right tools with cost optimization including AWS infrastructure
- Managing cloud services, infrastructure, and monitoring with issue resolution
- Database management, security & compliance management
- Performance Optimization and handling incident management
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in DevOps, establish best practices, and share knowledge with the wider team.
- Manage, mentor, and guide team members
We would love to get to know you if you have the following:
- Working experience with start-ups or good tech companies with 10+ years of experience
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies and Version control systems (e.g., GitHub)
- Deep understanding of Cloud platforms specifically AWS
- Skilled with Containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of security compliance and regulatory requirements, and the ability to integrate security into the DevOps pipeline (DevSecOps).
- Experience with Database technologies (SQL, Cluster technology and creation, Always-On, migration, log shipping, snapshots)
- Experience with CI/CD and automation systems: e.g. Ansible, Jenkins, Chef, GIT
- Skilled with monitoring solutions preferably DataDog and APM tools
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues and incidents.
- Ability to evaluate new technologies and tools, and make informed decisions about their use in the organization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and be able to identify and address complex technical problems.
- Strong leadership skills to build and lead a high-performing DevOps team.

Nice to have:
- Working experience with full stack development, understanding of different tech stacks
