AeroShield is a collaborative team of 25+ people bound by a mission to deliver innovative new materials to make our lives more sustainable. A lot of energy is wasted by poor building insulation, especially poorly insulated windows and we want to change that. We are developing super-insulating, transparent inserts for windows based on aerogels, bringing state-of-the-art thermal comfort and energy efficiency into buildings at an affordable price.

What we are looking for in a Manufacturing Technician – Finished Product
We're in search of someone who enjoys the autonomy offered by a dynamic small startup environment and takes initiative to find new learning opportunities. This person should be highly organized and detail oriented, have a passion for learning new skills and processes, and be able to work collaboratively with others.

The Product Development Technician will assist the product development team in the fabrication, assembly, and inspection of aerogel-integrated products and their machinery as well as maintaining and documenting production processes.
As the ideal candidate you have experience working in a hands-on setting and have an unwavering commitment to safety. You thrive in fast-paced environments where the results of your work play an important role in advancing new technologies to market.
This role requires candidates to be on-site 5 days a week at our facility in Waltham, MA.
